Beth Judah Temple is the oldest continuously operating synagogue in Cape May County. Established in 1915, Beth Judah’s 1929 sanctuary and adjoining 1964 Annex/Social Hall are listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places. A Museum/Library/Cultural Center is being created on site to showcase the contributions of Beth Judah’s Jewish community to the development of Wildwood and Cape May County as a tourist destination and full-time community.

Our Rabbi, Ron Isaacs, leads contemporary musical sabbath services throughout the year via a combination of in person, live stream and Zoom formats. Starting in May we offer both in person Friday evening and Saturday morning services twice monthly, in our beautiful, historic sanctuary located at the corner of Spencer and Pacific Avenues in Wildwood. On alternate weeks and throughout the year, services are offered via Zoom. Contact the office in advance to receive the link and attachments for Zoom services. During the summer, one service per month is held at the beach in Cape May or Wildwood. Crest. Check the calendar below for details.

We welcome year-round and summer residents as well as those vacationing in the area. We have a long tradition of serving cadets from the US Coast Guard Training Academy as they pass through our community. Whatever your age or level of Jewish worship, we invite you to participate in our joyous services. We offer a warm approach to tradition where everyone counts. High Holiday services are open to all.

Musical, educational, and cultural programs are also offered throughout the year.
